But there’s a problem; the number of app installs for an average user have fallen from 8.8 per month in 2015 to practically zero. The average smartphone owner has 27 apps on their phone but typically only uses 4 to 6 regularly. We’re all experiencing “App Fatigue” and it’s becoming increasingly hard for app owners to maintain engagement with their users through their own mobile apps.
